Thanks to our generous donors, we collected and distributed 150 health and hygiene kits to children and families at our partner sites throughout Phoenix. The kits were full of much needed hygiene supplies such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, shampoo, lotion and dental floss, to help the families get off to a healthy start for the school year. Esperança also gathered school supplies for 150 children.
“We appreciate all of the donors who helped make this possible,” said Tom Egan, president and CEO of Esperança. “We know the families are grateful to have new hygiene and school supplies. Often times, they can’t afford even the most basic items, so your gifts went along way in ensuring they are off to a healthy start.”
