Christmas Angel’s Needed

Unfortunately the holidays can be a tough time for Valley families struggling to make ends meet. That’s why Esperança is coordinating a Christmas Angel program to make sure low-income families have gifts for the holidays.

Companies, churches, clubs, professional organizations, youth teams and individuals can sponsor a family. Esperança will match sponsors with a family and provide a “wish list”. Sponsors can purchase new gifts or make a cash contribution and Esperança Women’s Guild volunteers or staff will do the shopping for the family. Sponsors will be matched by Nov. 16, 2012 and gifts will be collected at Esperança the first week of December. Esperança will distribute the gifts to families on Dec. 14, 2012.

To become a Christmas Angel and make someone’s holiday season a little brighter, simply call Maria Valenzuela at (602)252-7772 EXT. 108 or via email at maria@esperanca.org.
