Our volunteer dental team brought much-needed hope to a rural community in Oaxaca, Mexico in April 2023. Dentists treated 419 people for painful cavities and life-threatening conditions.
However, 500 others near Playa Limon were put on a waiting list. We’re working with a dentist from Mexico City to help them, but he urgently needs more resources!
Oaxaca is one of the most underserved states in Mexico. Many of it’s residents, especially the large indigenous population, struggle to access even basic health care services.
