Esperança’s mission is to make it possible for members of the community in Phoenix and abroad to live healthier lives, so it only makes sense that we take the same approach when it comes to our employees!

The Healthy Arizona Worksite Award seeks to recognize employers that are making evidence-based efforts to support the health and well-being of their employees as well as their families.

Through the use of the Center for Disease Control Worksite Health Score Card, employers are able to assess whether they have implemented evidence-based health promotion strategies.
This year, Esperança achieved the Copper award level!

The state-recognized honor goes to businesses that have taken initial steps to receive worksite health training, gain leadership support, begin organizational assessment, create supportive infrastructure and fashion a worksite health improvement plan.

With goals like: supporting employees in achieving the recommended amount of physical activity, encouraging a healthy diet, and allowing pets in the workplace to reduce stress levels, Esperança aims to be an example of optimal health as a testament to the services we provide.

Through the HAWP, Esperança gained knowledge to create a functional and lasting health plan, designed to continually educate its staff with up to date material on how to live healthier lives.
Esperança takes the health and well-being of its employees very seriously because we could not transform lives without them!
