What Unites Us?
At a time when the world feels divided – it gives me hope to know that there is one thing
that you and I are united around. That one thing is trying to make the world a better
place for those who aren’t as fortunate as we are. I’ve spent my entire career in the
nonprofit sector working to improve the lives of others because every person on this
plant deserves a chance to live a happy and healthy life.
You donate money to Advance Community as well as other organizations because you
have a commitment to helping make the world a better place. You entrust
organizations like ours to be the hands and feet for the work that needs to be done by
providing funding for that work. Thank you!
As we begin this New Year, I am reflective of all the ways in which our work makes a
difference in the world. From access to clean water in Nicaragua, improving food
insecurity through agriculture in Bolivia, Peru, and Mozambique to providing surgical
services such as correcting a child’s club feet so she has a chance to live pain free and
self-sufficient.
There are many needs in the world and we address just a few but the impact is great. I
hope that you will continue to support our work knowing that we are united in the belief
that everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life. You can make that possible
