Our Mission in Bolivia, South America

What we do in Bolivia

Since 1985, Advance has been improving lives and strengthening families in the diverse communities of Bolivia through health education and community development.

We work with our partner, Esperanza Bolivia, to bring real, sustainable change to communities in southern Bolivia through capacity-building and education at all levels of the community, including training families, local leaders, health professionals, and more. We provide better, safer homes, work to prevent maternal and infant mortality and diseases like Chagas disease and malaria, and improve agricultural practices among the diverse indigenous populations in the Department of Tarija and surrounding regions.
